HARVEST SUNDAY 2024
HARVEST SUNDAY 2024
We are so excited about our Harvest Sunday special offering. Harvest Sunday is our way of leveraging our financial support for our ministry partners who are serving both locally and globally. Campus has been uniquely positioned to be able to be deeply invested in ministry partners that share our mission in helping people live the adventure-filled good life in Jesus in different areas of our community as well as internationally. This year, when you give to Harvest Sunday you will be providing support through Campus to Agape, Atlanta Inner City Ministry, YouthReach International, Greece (Gulley and Moore families), Across the Bridge, and the City of Angels.
Your gift will make a difference. Through Harvest Sunday, you can help our ministry partners continue doing valuable work in communities here in Atlanta and around the world. Every penny donated to Harvest Sunday supports the needs and efforts of our ministry partners. Your gifts are funding efforts that will be game changers for the thousands of people that our partners serve.
THIS WEEK'S MINISTRY PARTNER HIGHLIGHT
GREECE | MOORE & GULLEY FAMILIES
MINISTRY PARTNERS FUNDED BY HARVEST SUNDAY
Georgia Agape
Atlanta, GA
Georgia Agape provides professional social services as a compassionate outreach to children, families, and individuals, in order to enhance their prospects, for a better and brighter future. This mission is carried out through foster care and adoption services, where we find loving homes, temporary and permanent, for some of Georgia’s 12,000 abandoned, abused, and neglected children. We serve the children and families primarily from 13 Metro Atlanta counties. And we’ve been caring for them for over 54 years. Our services are necessary safety nets, essential to sustaining healthy communities.
Foster-care work helps alleviate pain for children who have suffered abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Foster care and adoption give purpose to the lives of families who invite such children into their homes, temporarily and permanently. Without programs like ours, many children might never know the care of a loving family or see firsthand the love of Christ.
Prayer Requests:
1. Commit to prayer for our foster family community to be filled with wisdom, power, love, and joy as they take on this ministry.
2. As we are placing children of all ages, please pray for insight into the needs unique to each age group.
3. Join us in prayer for healthy Christ-centered families to become new foster parents. Seek the Lord’s guidance if you might be one of those families.
City of Angels
Cozumel, Mexico
Ciudad de Ángeles is a children’s home in Cozumel, Mexico with a long-time partnership with the Campus Church. Our goal is to raise children to become Christian adults who are responsible citizens in their local communities.
Prayer Requests:
1. Our children
2. Our house parents & staff
3. Our financial needs
Atlanta Inner-City Ministry
ATLANTA, GA
Atlanta Inner-City Ministry seeks to partner with inner-city families to raise strong, Christian adults. Many of the children and teenagers we serve grow up in broken families and impoverished communities. From an early age, many of our kids are exposed to extreme violence and poverty, and are entrenched in communities ravaged by drugs and alcohol. We want to come alongside those families and help give kids the resources and relationships they need to thrive
Prayer Requests
1. Our AIM Teenagers - Each Thursday night, we gather teenagers from around our community for a time of community, worship, and study. Many of these kids are stuck on the verge of making either really good decisions or really bad decisions, and they need our prayers and support.
2. Our AIM Kids - Each Tuesday Night, AIM serves between 40 and 50 inner-city children. Many are growing up in really tough situations, and they need our prayers for hope, protection, and wisdom.
3. Our Staff - The work we’re doing is tough work, especially when we’re dealing directly with families. Our staff needs your prayers everyday so that we can make wise, God honoring decisions, and that we can serve our families as effectively as possible.
YouthReach International
Eastern Europe, Middle East, & Southern Africa
YouthReach International works to see the cycles of spiritual, education, and financial broken in the lives of orphans. We do this by investing in their spiritual formation, providing them role models, and training them in practical life skills. At the center of our work are local churches that exist in the communities we serve.
Prayer Requests:
1. Peace in the nations of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Lebanon all of whom are at war
2. Provision to dream big dreams and make lasting impact
3. The health of the marriages and families which lead our mentoring communities
Across The Bridge
NORCROSS, GA
Across The Bridge is a 501(c)3 Human Services Organization that exists to serve those seeking recovery from addiction and other life-changing circumstances. That includes helping the homeless and combat veterans. We are on target in 2024 to serve over 50,000 folks in meetings at our building and other outreach locations.
Prayer Requests:
1. Reach people with a message of salvation in Christ (we have baptized 202 people since early 2021).
2. Determine what we need to add to mentor those who come to us beyond the elemental steps of recovery.
3. To raise the necessary funds to expand our staff and outreach to the surrounding community.
Moore Family
GREECE
For the past two years, we have been serving with EuroRelief (the humanitarian branch of Hellenic Ministries) on the Greek island of Lesvos. EuroRelief exists to serve and show compassion to those suffering in Greece and the surrounding regions. On Lesvos this means serving in a refugee camp where many people are arriving and seeking asylum from their worn torn countries. Our role with EuroRelief is to provide member care services for all our staff and volunteers. This consists of caring for the emotional and spiritual needs of our team.
Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray that we will have a stable home to live in and a place in which lots of ministry could flow out. We are waiting on the Lord and we trust He will provide.
2. Please pray for the spiritual realm of our organization. There are some hard things going on within our community, and we sense that the enemy is trying to divide, and cause discontentment and chaos.
3. Please pray as we shift our focus now to the long term volunteers with Euro Relief. Our job has not changed except for the “who” we are caring for, and we are excited to come alongside and provide soul care for our long term volunteers.
Gulley Family
GREECE
Our hearts desire is to see healthy, mature Afghan leaders loving others to Jesus, promoting the unity and health of the body of Christ, and inspiring the next generation with a missional heart for the people of Afghanistan. Our team is currently leading Farsi speaking refugee ministries on the two Greek islands of Lesvos and Samos, conducting Trauma Care workshops and training in 10+ countries, launching two new cohorts in our Missions Training School this Fall in Sweden and Germany, caring for several Afghan and Iranian missionary families and individuals, and facilitating gatherings that promote Kingdom work among Afghans.

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray that in 2025 we would facilitate missions for 20+ Afghan and Iranian believers to reach Afghans in Greece and East of Greece.
2. We need help to grow administratively to keep up with all the ministry activity. We really need help with IT, website, and administration.
3. Pray for wisdom as our teams make decisions of how to best reach more people while immigration laws and practice continue to change.
