LOCAL MISSIONS

Campus has been strategically placed on Indian Trail to serve in our Norcross community.  We have several different ways that you can get involved with to help in our community.

PROJECT KIDS EAT

During the summer, the Campus family and friends meet to pack and deliver lunches to kids living in the extended-stay hotels in the Norcross community. We also provide gifts and food for the kids on Christmas Eve. Each summer we will be packing and delivering lunches Monday-Friday.

HELPING HANDS

A ministry designed to assist the widowed women and men of our congregation with household repairs and cleaning, transportation, meals, communion, and visits.

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY MEAL

Each year on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM we host our annual Thanksgiving Community Meal. It’s a wonderful day of great food (all the traditional turkey day fixings) and great fellowship with our Campus family and our friends from the community. The meal is free. Thousands have been served over the years! This year we will continue to host a drive-thru Thanksgiving Meal, where our guests will be able to stay in their cars, and they will receive to-go containers of a delicious, hot Thanksgiving meal.  We will need lots of friendly volunteers to help this run smoothly and for our guests to feel welcomed and cared for- even if they have to remain in their car.  So bring your mask and come join the fun on Thanksgiving Day! RECOVERY MINISTRY | ACROSS THE BRIDGE

Across the Bridge Recovery Program is an outreach for those who are dealing with recovery from addiction and/or life changing circumstances. We offer support groups and mentoring, as well as spiritual guidance toward a better walk with our Lord. We are open to those within the Campus family and to our community, with many opportunities to serve, such as mentoring or sponsoring someone in their recovery journey.

JAIL MINISTRY

Currently Campus has 16 Jail Ministry volunteers (12 men and 4 women) that go into the Gwinnett Detention Center every Sunday evening on a rotating schedule to share the Good News with 100 to 150 inmates.

ATLANTA INNER CITY MINISTRY

AIM is an urban mission for Atlanta Christians. AIM exists to serve the needs of the inner-city poor. Volunteers are needed for the children’s Bible study that Campus leads the first Tuesday of every month. CDL drivers are needed for various ministry activities as are mentors for the Living Free recovery program which takes place on Monday evenings. Food, clothing, and Bibles are also needed for AIM.

GEORGIA AGAPE

has been helping children and families in need for over 42 years. As a licensed “Child Placing Agency,” they provide foster care and adoption services and place abused, neglected and dependent children in Christian Homes. Foster and adoptive families are needed. For more information, call the AGAPE office at 770.452.9995.

MEADOWCREEK ELEMENTARY

Directly across the street from Campus Church is Meadowcreek Elementary School where you can volunteer to help read with the children, assist in the parent resource room and classrooms, or help in the media center.

NEIGHBORHOOD COOPERATIVE MINISTRIES (NCM)

NCM provides programs and services to low income and homeless families living in Southwest Gwinnett County. There are various volunteer opportunities to help including: sorting donations, providing children’s activities and working one on one with clients in need. Campus also provides 2 food drives a year to support NCM.  For more information to volunteer at NCM please contact their office directly at 770-263-0013.
